Have your "elf" a Merry little Christmas card

Mystery Monday at  TGF Farm Fresh Blog is to "case" a card and for the month of October i have decided to start making Christmas cards...i know it's still Sept...but i got a bit excited and started today.  I am making this card step-by-step and including all of the dimensions i used to make this card.  I will make 3 versions of this card.  (One using a digital image, one w/a diecut and one with a sentiment only)  I will add the different versions as i make them.

But first here is the cased card...

And now my version..

And the how to:
Make a card base (i used white) 8.5 x 6.25
First layer is cream 4 x 6
Next layer is  3.75 x 5.75 (green dot)
Cut the green dot into the following pieces:
The bottom piece is 3.75 x 2.25
Top right piece is 2.25 x 3.50
Top left piece is 1.50 x 3.50
I have about 1/8" gap.
Punch or die cut scalloped circles (red)3.25, (cream) 2.5)

Emboss cream circle.

Paper Distress the edges of cream and green dot pieces, then ink distress all of the edges on the card base, layers and embossed scalloped circle.

Next step layer the green dot pieces onto the cream piece (do not put onto the card base until you attach your ribbon)

Attach ribbon and then attach the cream/green dot layers.  Attach red circle to card and then the cream embossed circle.

Next step would be to add your digital image, diecut image or sentiment on the center of the embossed scalloped circle.

Embellish as you like with paper flowers, or 3-d flowers.  Add "title" sentiment at this time.
