Your Next Stamp YNS Fun Friday, featuring Little Sister

Happy Friday!
It’s time for another Your Next Stamp Fun Friday challenge!

I am hoping this will be a surprise for Karen, the owner of YNS.  As you know she has a newborn baby, her name is Jessica.  I wanted to make something special for both of them.  And guess what?  This month's March release had a sweet little girl digi called "Little Sister" i thought was perfect for Jessica because she is now a little sister to her big brother!

So what did i do wrong???  Well, i was so excited about making this project that i forgot that as a Design team member we are to "follow" the inspirational photo or sketch.  Well, i made this before i knew what they were.  gheesh..but wait..not only did i do that for this project but for the card you will see later this month.  So if you follow along, please think i am following the colors of the photo..there are pinks and purple tulips :0)

Here’s my project using Little Sister from the YNS store: (i also hand cut the image out twice to give dimension to the figure..the hair is cut out separate and so is the body and then foam dots under to make her 3-..just the head is the first layer).  (Click on the picture to see it larger..i think)

Some other YNS products i used are the banner at the top is a stamp and a die to cut the banners out..then the red frame i used to frame sweet Jessica.

White frame die is a Tattered Lace die.

Here is the the monthly challenge sketch or photo.

You can either play along with the sketch, the inspiration photo or both!

Copics used:
skin- YR000, 00, E02
hair- E50, 51, 53, 55, 57
dress/bow/shoes- R81, 83, 85
Stickles/diamond

Pop on over to the YNS Challenge blog to see what my Design Team members have made. I would love to see you playing along!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
